Inspiration

Yesterday I went looking for some inspiration for a new story whilst on a walk. Fair to say I didn't get much from it. I saw a many of houses, fields, plants, gardens, trees and all the rest. And of course the gate from behind the gate I was thinking of something to do with a lodge, maybe haunted, but then again that's been done before. Trying to think of something new was to hard. Then again, there are a few fields and that would make a good horror/fantasy story. Note to self: think of a good horror story to do with a field. 

List

Have a list of stories I want to do: 

• 60 Days  - Make a different story from it. The original idea was not great. Shark attacks in different countries and I am the one who  kills them. It will take a long time to do as it requires a lot of research. It is something I want to do. 
• The Power of Music - Want to see how I can go around it. It is a very complex thing to do but want to see how I can do it, need to make notes and do a lot of research. Tis a group of young people who go about earth and recruit people.
• Charity Shop - Make a different name to it. Need a good story line, characters, etc. Could make a great story. Murder of a manager and the police try to find which volunteer did it.
• Project XZ3 - Something I want to return to and make it really good. I know I can do it now that I have the time. Young girl who is trapped in a building and has a lot of powers and maybe breaks out of the place or something. Always wanted to do that.
• Kids In Slavery - That's a maybe. It's to much like One Person Can Make A Difference. A lot like it. But with more people So will probably not return to it. Maybe worth a try? 
• Long and Forgotten - Something from Portugal. Good times and good memories. Need to find that at home. It could make a great story. Something to consider. A young me on a beach, all special with powers, the police are following me and magical things happen and everything, I fight beasts and turn into a pirate. Cos that just sounds awesome.
• The Amulet - Something I started a while ago. Again, something that could be great if I put the time and effort into. Needs a good story. Could stick to original idea... starts in a closed off place with me in the vents and I get the amulet, then its a fight against time until dawn and the police catch me. I don't know, just made that up, and sounds a bit like National Treasure. 
• Home World - Just made up that title. Thinking of stories close to home, been thinking of an idea lately where some treasure or something amazing is in my garden and hidden in a magical world. Again, that would make a great story, need ideas and what not. 
• Other World - I've always wanted to create a fantasy story based in a different world. Have no idea where to start with it. Requires a lot of patience of which I do not have. However, I want to make one day. 
• Maladaptive Daydreaming - Again, a story I've wanted to base on myself. Young girl who suffers from it and how she copes with it and all that. Not hard to do at all. That would also need a good title. I'm thinking imagine, or, open your mind. I like that. 
• The Prison Diaries - Also something I've had in mind for a while. Based on someone who is in jail, either for something they've done or haven't and how they cope in it. Something I want to do soon. 

Kids In Slavery

After looking through some old stories again I found Kids In Slavery. Something I did a few years ago and really got into, but never finished. I had the same characters from One Person Can Make A Difference. One of my old favorites, now I feel like getting back into it. I had some pages somewhere so I want to find them and bring it back to life. Maybe this is the inspiration I've been looking for, old favorites. This is something I want to do. 

The Power of Music

Looking back on stories I had start to write I found this one. I wanted to write it but found it really difficult. But after listening to music and putting it into words I didn't find it that hard. It depends on the song choice. I'm gonna start with Queen's Don't Try Suicide as I really got into it and started to think about it. So I'm gonna give it a go and see how it turns out. I think it might actually get somewhere and something that people will actually read. It appeals to most people I think, depending on what kind of music I put in it, mostly things I like. But I think it will turn out well. 

Need Inspiration...

After a few months and some research I have finally finished Behind the Gate and Lantern Lake. I'm so proud of myself. I tried to start something called 60 Days about shark attacks and what not... but I couldn't start it and couldn't get into it properly. So that failed a bit. Now I'm needing inspiration for a good story. I want to write a good fantasy story, but really can't think of anything. It'll be really hard to think of something. Me thinks its time for a good research plan. 

Charity Shop

Working in a charity shop I think I might write a murder mystery story. Associating to the shop. I'll change the characters of course. I think it would make a good story. The manager is killed... but which volunteer did it? They all had a motive.. I like the sound of it. Cluedo style. I really like the sound of it. I know I'll wanna write it when I get the others out of the way. Time will tell. I've been working in the shop a lot recently and don't write that much on a night. Tend to go onto facebook and then watch TV before I go to sleep. It's becoming a sort of ritual. I'll try and get some writing done at some point. I don't know when but I'll try. Maybe when I go on holiday.. I'll try then. 

Life

Stupid me decided to delete the blog posts on here for some reason. I don't even remember what the other posts were. Anyway, this Sunday I'm getting on with writing. I'm gonna continue with Behind the Gate and hope to finish it soon. Then think of what I'm going to do next. I had Project XZ3 which I had in mind, I've had that idea for a few years now. I think I'll feel better if I actually do it. I did do it for a script last year and got a good enough mark for it. So that will be my next task. And Lantern Lake, which I'm a quarter of a way through, and The Amulet. Then I'm up for new ideas. I've always wanted to write something about the end of the world. So... I'll start thinking about that when I've got these out of the way. I wanna do a lot before I go back to uni in October.
